GAMERS Forum Section 11 Thread Archives

This file forms part of an archive of message threads from the CompuServe
GAMERS forum. The archives are ASCII files, which may be searched with grep
like utilities, or just browsed with an editor/file viewer.
I would like to thank all of the members of the GAMERS forum for so freely
providing this information. CompuServe is a virtual community that works
together very well when those that are in the know are so willing to teach
those of us struggling to learn. I include myself in the latter group. The
subjects retained for archiving reflect my personal preferrences and biases.
I tend to ignore flame wars, so you won't find (m)any here. Also, much of
the fluff, or personality, if you will, has been removed. I did this to
converve space and to more directly address the techinical issues. I realize
that I haven't done a perfect job but hope that what I have done is useful.
